Dear Parent

Jasmine was in a relationship with a dirty homeless boy named Aladdin.

Snow white lived alone with 7 men.

Pinocchio was a liar

Robin Hood was a thief.

Tarzan walked around with almost no clothes on.

A stranger kissed Sleeping beauty and she married him.

Cinderella snuck out at night to attend a party.

Notice that we read our kids fairytales which have all kind of wild behavior going on. Ironically later we try hard to limit their own wild expressions in a process of culturing them.

At some stage in life though, everyone needs to de-culture, to become complete. Cultural programming has to accommodate personal idiosyncrasies so that life fulfillment can be achieved.

That is the time then, one needs to re-read and re-discover these fairytales.

Hence I wanted to remind you to please preserve the books of fairytale of your kids as they outgrow them. What once enamored your young, will also help to liberate you as an adult.

Yours’ Sincerely,
Kindergarten Class-teacher.
